Our Backstory
Susan started working at Metropet in 2008. When working at Metropet her passion for dogs started. Her husband Tim and herself, took over the business in 2016. When Tim is not at Metropet he is a full time firefighter. Timothy & Luke are full time time students during the day & athletes by night.
We love being able to teach our son's about dogs in every aspect. Susan loves interacting and being in group with the dogs . We treat all our customers & furry friends as extend member of our family. Timothy loves being able to help his mom work in group and clean while Luke is all for puppy cuddling time.
What we like:
Susan; baking, building lego, being outside, working out, being with her dogs, going to concerts & being a sports mom!
Tim; golfing, playing softball, doing apparel, driving his Camaro and coaching his boys in sport.
Timothy aka Lt: playing video games, football, wrestling, lacrosse, being outside & riding his dirt bike.
Luke: anything snoopy, football, lacrosse, playing VR, video games, playing with friends outside, & playing with his cat Moana.

Before starting at Metropet in July 2022, Sierra was working retail. Her passion for dogs made her want to change career paths. Her favorite part of Metropet is EVERYTHING; getting to provide a safe space for dog to play and being around the dogs. When Sierra is not at work she enjoys beach days, concerts and coaching Lacrosse.

KARA
GABRIEL "GABE"

Kara started working at Metropet July 2023 and before that she worked at Starbucks for 3 years. Kara favorite part of Metropet is getting to meet all the different types of breeds and forming bonds between herself and the dogs. When Kara is not at work she enjoys laying around with her Boston Terrier and sending time with her friends.
*Fun fact abut Kara is she loves going to concerts

Gabe started at Metropet in October 2020; before Metropet Gabe enjoyed hanging with his family & gaming. His favorite part of the job is working with the dogs and his coworkers. When Gabe is not at work he enjoys gaming, taking walks, going out, watching movies and walking his dog.
*Fun Fact about Gabe is he is an artist

Taytum started working at Metropet in September 2023 and before that she was a hosted at Iron Works and she babysits. Taytum favorite part of Metropet is the pure love that everyone has for the dogs here; it’s not only a job to us but something we look forward to seeing our dogs in group. When Taytum is not at Metropet she enjoys hanging

Taytum favorite part of Metropet is the pure love that everyone has for the dogs here; it’s not only a job to us but something we look forward to seeing our dogs in group. When Taytum is not at Metropet she enjoys hanging with friends, going shopping, going to the beach, and watching sunsets. Taytum tries to stay outside as much as possible and spending time with her dog Oreo; her besties.

Grace started working at Metropet September 2023 and before that Grace volunteered at Roger Williams Park Zoo, animal shelters, vet clinics/shelter for cats & Petco. Grace’s favorite part of Metropet is getting to meet and learn each dog’s name and individual personality. Grace loves working with the dog also beacause it helps her anxiety
Grace started working at Metropet September 2023 and before that Grace volunteered at Roger Williams Park Zoo, animal shelters, vet clinics/shelter for cats & Petco. Grace’s favorite part of Metropet is getting to meet and learn each dog’s name and individual personality. Grace loves working with the dog also beacause it helps her anxiety, which is a big reason why she wanted to work with dog. When Grace is not at work she listens to music, playing with my three dogs, calling my friends and playing video games.

Before Kenzie started at Metropet November 2023 she attended college & worked at Khols. Her favorite part of the job is learning about different dog breeds and their behaviors. When Kenzie is not at work she likes to go out with friends, go shopping, being outside & going hiking.

Before Emma started at Metropet May 2024 she was attending high school. Her favorite part of the job is playing with the dogs and learning all their different personalities. When Emma is not at work she likes to go shopping, going to Starbucks, concerts & playing softball.
*Fun Fact about Emma is she has 2 dogs and is a pitcher in softball.

Grace started at Metropet December 2024. Before she started, she was waitress at Warwick Country Club. Her favorite part of the job is interacting with different types of dogs and behaviors because I am going to school to be a vet. I also love the people I work with! When Grace is not at work she going to school at CCRI, riding her horses

Hailey started at Metropet January 2025 after working retail at TJ Maxx & Home-goods. Her favorite part of the job is working with all the different breeds/sizes. She also loves getting to know all their different personalities. When Hailey is not at Metropet she enjoys spending time with her friends/family, going on mini vacations, shopping & working out.
